The High Sheriff Fund Award

The High Sheriff Funds provides grants of up to £1,000.00 to support work that young people (aged 8-25) undertake to improve their communities and lives. Of particular interest are projects that address citizenship, community safety and crime prevention, tackling such issues as:

  • Bullying
  • Vandalism and Arson
  • Anti-Social Behaviour
  • Drug and Alcohol Abuse and Awareness
  • Homelessness
  • Internet Safety
  • Knife Crime
  • Road Safety
  • Personal Safety
  • Community Cohesion, especially with the elderly and minorities

To see if your new or existing project qualifies for a grant, please contact The Suffolk Foundation on 01473 734123 by 12 December for an application and guidelines. Applications forms are also available here. The deadline for receiving applications is 16 January 2009.

All projects that receive a grant from the High Sheriff Fund are automatically entered for the annual Suffolk Crimebeat Award.  

 

The Suffolk Foundation works in partnership with the High Sheriff of Suffolk, Suffolk Constabulary and National Crimebeat.
