Transforming Suffolk Community Fund

Grants of up to £5,000 for Suffolk's voluntary and community groups, including social enterprise companies and community interest companies, so that they may deliver projects into Suffolk that work towards delivering the Suffolk Community Strategy 2008-2028.
Grants of up to £2,000 to charitable, voluntary and community groups addressing the needs of residents in Ipswich and Felixstowe and the surrounding villages.



Working Together Awards

If you have carried out a project in the last twelve months and the project has shown some excellent or outstanding outcomes you can apply for an Award from this Fund. Awards are either £10,000 or £5,000.

Comic Relief Fund

Grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 to support community groups that are running projects to increase local services, build skills of local people, increase community cohesion and respond to local economic needs.

Suffolk Disability Care Fund

Grants of up to £1,000 to purchase daily living equipment to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities who live in Suffolk. Applications for grant funding can only be made by a professional, such as a social worker, occupational therapist or health visitor on behalf of the beneficiary - grants will only be payable to third parties, such as a shop, in order to purchase a much needed item.


Suffolk Fund (and other private funds)

Grants of up to £2,000 for charitable, voluntary and community groups that are addressing Suffolk's priority needs. The Suffolk Fund also includes Marriot Motor Group Fund, Baker Tilly Fund, AXA Insurance Fund, Shadwell Fund and Ipswich Building Society Charitable Foundation.


Small Grants Fund

Small grants of up to £900 for Suffolk's charitable, voluntary and community groups that are addressing the county's priority needs.


Safer Suffolk Foundation

Grants of up to £2,000 for charitable community organisations throughout Suffolk who are working to improve community safety, crime prevention and citizenship.

Creating the Greenest County Fund

Grants of up to £25,000 for voluntary and community groups who wish to deliver community based carbon reduction projects that are 'visionary' and forward thinking in line with the Greenest County mission.

Transforming Suffolk Loan Fund

Loans of between £5,000 and £50,000 are available for Suffolk social enterprises and charities that can benefit Suffolk people in one or more of the following areas: providing compassion in crisis, improving health and wellbeing, supporting children and young people, delivering help and care at home, creating thriving communities.

Ridgeons Community Fund

Grants of between £250 and £750 to support small, local voluntary and community groups and organisations undertaking charitable work. The focus for the Fund is on projects aimed at improving health, and those working with children, young people and families. Groups are eligible to apply if they are based within a 10 miles radius of the Ridgeons branches in Suffolk.

Stour Valley Environmental Fund

The Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and Stour Valley Project has established the Stour Valley Environment Fund (SVEF) to support voluntary and community organisations working to enhance community life and the environment in the Stour Valley area, on both the Essex and Suffolk sides of the river Stour.
