Examples of what could be funded are:

  • Staff, volunteers or management training on quality bid writing
  • Governance training for trustees, staff or volunteers
  • Budgeting, business plan writing, risk management training etc.
  • Marketing costs that are targeted at increasing membership, volunteer numbers, more service delivery which can demonstrate a connection with building capacity
  • Short pieces of research such as a “business health check”
  • Any other project or piece of work that your organisation could use to increase capacity.

Please read the Guidelines to the Improve and Prove Fund as you will need to comply with as an organisation. Note that that you must have an income of under £150,000 per annum or under £450,000 over the last three years.
